The Constitutional Committee has extended the term of its sub-committee by 15 days. The meeting of the Constitution Committee held at Kathmandu today extended the sub-committee till the 29th of this month saying that the committee has shown commendable progress in resolving various issues in the Constituent Assembly. Constituent Committee, Chairman Nilamber Acharya expressed confidence that all outstanding issues, including those regarding the electoral procedure and the form of governance, will be resolved by the sub-committee at the earliest. The sub-committee informed the CC about the 40 issues, which have been resolved and endorsed so far. The sub-committee was formed on February 25 to settle down the differences among parties in various issues regarding the new statute.
