Constitution Day is being observed in Nepal today. The new constitution of Nepal was promulgated on this day in 2015. President Bidya Devi Bhandari, Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has greeted people on this occasion.<br/> <br/>In her message President Bhandari said that the new constitution has been obtained after a long struggle and sacrifice of the people of Nepal. She said that this day gives inspiration to build a peaceful, prosperous, federal democratic republic of Nepal. Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun in his message has said that the country would move ahead in the path of economic prosperity with full implementation of the constitution.<br/> <br/>In his message Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba said that this day would inspire people of Nepal to move ahead on the path of national unity and prosperity being conscious of the rights and responsibilities. He also called for support from all sides to achieve the constitutional objectives for a greater welfare of the country.
