Conspiracies hatched to destabilise his Govt, says PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi says conspiracies were being hatched to destabilise his government. Addressing the Krushak Samavesh at Bargarh in Odisha the Prime Minister said that NGOs receive money from foreign countries and his government was seeking the account. <br/><br/>Without naming anybody or any specific instance, he said he had taken some steps because of which, certain sections of people are facing problems and they got united and turned against him. He also made the remarks about the neem-coating of urea being done to avoid its scope of black-marketing and routing to chemical factories like in the past.<br/><br/>Speaking at the Farmers' convention, the prime minister appealed people to think big for State's development. The prime minister focussed his speech on the initiatives of his government for the welfare of the farming community, including Irrigation scheme, Crop Insurance Scheme and Soil Health Card scheme. Modi asked the farming community to ensure at least 50 per cent of the farmers in the country take Insurance policy.<br/><br/>Stressing on the financial position of the farmers, the prime minister said Centre and States should work together to ensure that the farmers' income is doubled by 2022, the 75th anniversary of the India's Independence.<br/><br/>In his address, Modi categorically appreciated the abundance of water resource in Odisha and laid emphasis on a proper irrigation management and assured central help in this regard. Citing the example of first green revolution, Modi said Odisha could be the breeding ground for the second green revolution in the country, if people of the state want.
