Indian Skipper M.S.Dhoni received on Monday, in Cardiff, the ICC ODI Championship Shield and a cheque worth US$175,000 for being the number One ODI team on the cut off date of April 1. Dhoni along with his team is preparing for the ICC Champions Trophy in England these days. After receiving the shield he said that it was a proud moment for the entire team and a huge achievement which is just the beginning. The Indian skipper said that consistency and good performance over a period of time have got the number-one spot for team India The Indian team claimed the number-one spot from England after winning the series 3-2 in January.
