In Chile, Conservative, Sebasti'n Pinera has won yesterday's first round of presidential poll, but failed to avoid a run-off. Electoral official said Pinera got 37 percent vote while Socialist contender Alejandro Guillier bagged 23 percent vote after the counting of 90 percent votes. <br/><br/>The second round will take place between Pinera and Guiller on 17th of next month. Incumbent leader Michelle Bachelet is unable to seek re-election under Chile's constitution. In all, eight candidates were standing in the presidential race.
