Cong's Scindia, BJP's Tomar prominent candidates in MP 2nd Phase poll tomorrow

In Madhya Pradesh, elaborate security arrangements have been made for the second phase of Lok Sabha elections in the state.

Our Bhopal correspondent reports that the polling will take place tomorrow for ten seats of Gwalior-Chambal, Bundelkhand and Madhya region.

Besides Central Arm Police Force, 50 companies of Special Armed Force have been deployed in these areas.

714 flying squads and 692 special surveillance teams will also be deployed.

Strict vigil will be maintained at inter-state borders. 14 general poll observers and 4462 micro observers will keep an eye on the entire poll process. More than one crore 67 lakh voters will decide the political fate of l 142 candidates in this phase.

Among prominent candidates are union minister Jyotiraditya Scindia from Guna, state BJP president Narendra Singh Tomar from Gwalior and former union minister Prahalad Patel from Damoh.
