Congress has asked the centre to pass the Real Estate Bill in the first leg of budget session of Parliament. In a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu, Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee Chief Ajay Maken said the bill should be given top priority for its passage to give relief to millions of home buyers. <br/><br/>Mr Maken recalled that the Bill was approved for introduction in the Rajya Sabha by the Union Cabinet in June 2013 when he was Minister for Housing and Poverty Alleviation in UPA government. He said, the bill has been pending in Parliament since then and home buyers are suffering in the absence of a regulator in the sector.
