In Kerala, the Congress led opposition walked out of the state Assembly protesting against the alleged failure of the government in containing viral fever especially the deadly H1N1. Opposition leader Oommen Chandy criticised the Government and urged to call back the state health minister P K Shreemathi who is presently on tour to the United States. The opposition expressed serious concern on young men and pregnant women dying due to H1N1 and other types of fever. The effforts of the ruling front to highlight the action taken did not pacify the opposition and they walked out in protest. <br/>
