The Congress today urged the state governments to take tough action against hoarders and black marketers. Welcoming the rapid growth trajectory, party spokesperson Mrs. Jayanti Natrajan said that steps must be taken to strengthen PDS system. Mrs. Natrajan said though the manufacturing and service sectors have shown remarkable growth in the second quarter, controlling prices continues to be a challenge for the government particularly in the backdrop of a poor monsoon.
