<br/>The Top brass of the Congress today met in New Delhi to discuss the current situation in the Kashmir valley. The Home Minister Mr. P. Chidambaram briefed the Core group of the party about the latest situation in the valley. During the hour long meeting chaired by the party president Mrs. Sonia Gandhi the latest developments were discussed in length. <br/><br/>Earlier this week, the Party spokesperson Mrs. Jayanti Natrajan while expressing concern over the situation in the Kashmir valley had said that elements from across the border and separatists were trying to foment tension and violence in the valley.
