Congress to challenge imposition of President's rule in Uttarakhand High Court

Congress has said, it will challenge the imposition of President's rule in the Uttarakhand High Court. Addressing reporters in New Delhi today, party spokesperson Kapil Sibal said, the party will move the court against the Centre's decision and request to withdraw President's rule. He also questioned the validity of imposition of the President's rule, saying that the question of constitutional breakdown does not arise.<br/>'<br/>Mr Sibal also charged the BJP with attempting to completely wipe out Congress from the country.<br/>Another Congress leader Shakeel Ahmed also accused the Narendra Modi government with making an assault on the democracy by imposing President's rule in Uttarakhand. He said, the Congress will raise the issue in the Parliament and every political forum.
