Congress, TMC and CPI(M) today requested the Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan to revoke the suspension of six Congress members who were suspended yesterday for five days. <br/><br/>Congress MP Mallikarjun Kharge appealed to the Speaker to reconsider her decision and show a kind heart in revoking their suspension. <br/><br/>TMC MP Sougata Roy also made the same appeal and said that Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar should to move a motion in this regard. <br/><br/>CPI(M) member Mohd. Saleem also urged Mrs Mahajan for revocation of suspension of members and government should show bigger heart on the issue. <br/><br/>Mr Kumar said, the act of the suspended members was not proper and their behavior of throwing papers on the Chair was against the norms of Parliamentary democracy. However, Mrs Mahajan did not make any comment on the issue.<br/><br/>Lok Sabha Speaker had suspended six Congress MPs namely Gaurav Gogoi, K. Suresh, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary, Ranjeet Ranjan, Sushmita Dev and M K Raghavan. They had thrown pieces of paper and tried to disrupt proceedings during zero hour in the Lok Sabha yesterday.
