The Congress termed the recent political development in Karnataka as unfortunate. When asked about the reported demand of former Chief Minister of Karnataka B.S Yeddyurappa to reinstate him, the party Spokesman Abhishek Manu Singhvi told reporters in New Delhi that it is the internal affairs of the BJP and Congress has nothing to do regarding to this matter. He alleged that in national interest such kind of activity will help promote corruption.
On the issue of roll back of proposed hike in passenger fare in the Rail Budget, Mr Singhvi said, it is now the property of Parliament. He said that the decision on this issue will be taken by the members when the debate during the debate on Rail Budget.
