Congress today said allegations that former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi incited violence among communities are baseless and condemnable. Briefing media in New Delhi this evening, party spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi said it is unfortunate that such comments are being made for political gain. He said it is ridiculous for H S Phoolka to seek return of Bharat Ratna bestowed on Rajiv Gandhiji on such false allegations.
