The Steering Committee of the Congress today held a meeting in New Delhi today. This is the first meeting of top congress body after the Ayodhya verdict and the issue is understood to have been discussed at the meeting apart from other national issues. The committee also discussed the finalization of dates for the Congress Plenary session. The Congress Working Committee was converted into the Steering Committee after the re-election of Mrs. Sonia Gandhi as party President.
