Union Minister for Micro, small and Medium enterprises, Virbhadra Singh has said that the Congress High Command should announce the Chief ministerial candidate well before the Vidhan Sabha elections in Himachal Pradesh. The elections are scheduled to be held by the end of this Month. He was Speaking to the newsmen at Shimla before attending the function to facilitate him on his 78 birthday and completion of 50 years in politics. Virbhadra Singh has the distinction of becoming the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh five times and holding the ministerial births at the centre thrice. He said though the there is no practice of declaring chief ministerial candidate by the Congress High Command before elections but this time it is in the interest of the party in Himachal Pradesh.
