Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkiah Naidu has said, Congress should allow the Parliament to function smoothly and face the National Herald case in the judiciary. Talking to mediapersons at Chennai Airport this evening, he said blocking parliament is a mockery of democracy, adding, crucial legislations including the GST bill are pending in Parliament. <br/><br/>Mr Naidu said if the parliament is crippled, the growth of the nation would be choked. He also said that when Subramaniam Swamy filed the National Herald case against the Congress leadership, he was not even a BJP Member, saying the case has nothing to do with the BJP. <br/><br/>The Union Minister is scheduled to visit flood-affected areas in Tamil Nadu tomorrow and then meet the state chief minister Jayalalithaa to discuss about the relief and rehabilitation measures.
