Congress today said the BJP should tender an unconditional apology to the nation for its leader Piyush Goyal's adverse remarks about the people benefitting from Mahatma Gandhi NREGA scheme. Party spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala told media in New Delhi that Goyal has insulted the countrymen by his remark made in a TV debate last night. Goyal had said that the beneficiaires of MGNREGA have become impotent and lazy due to the scheme.
