Congress seeks EC's intervention to stop PM's Mann Ki Baat on AIR

The Congress today said it will seek intervention of the Election Commission of India to stop Prime minister's Mann Ki Baat programme broadcast on All India Radio. Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, senior leader Anand Sharma said since Prime Minister is determined to misuse his office and the public broadcaster, Congress and alliance partners are objecting to it.<br/><br/>On discontinuation of postal stamps featuring Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi, Mr Sharma criticised the approach and attitude of the government. He said Gandhis sacrificed a lot for the nation. He said it reflects a very narrow mindset of the government and an insult to history.
