The Congress has said that the result of the floor test in the Karnataka Assembly is subject to the final decision of the High Court as elucidated by the Court itself. The party spokesman Manish Tewari said that the Speaker should have accepted the request of the Leader of Opposition in the Assembly that the floor test should be postponed till after the High Court decision on the petition by disqualified MLAs. He alleged that constitutional or any other crisis created in Karnataka is the direct result of internal contradiction within the BJP and the patronage that has been extended by the party to every illegal activity in the state.
