Congress says ready to face no-confidence motion

Congress says, it is ready to face the threat of no confidence motion being made by Trinamool Congress Chief Mamta Banerjee. Party spokesperson Rashid Alvi said the UPA has majority in Parliament. He said Trinamool needs 50 MPs to move no confidence motion and it cannot muster this strength without support of communal forces.

Earlier, Trinamool Congress Chief and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has said that her party would bring a no confidence motion against the UPA 2 government in the forthcoming winter session of Parliament. Asked whether her party would seek the support of former ally BJP,Banerjee said that her party is ready to talk to anyone.
