Congress today said it is not against Goods and Services Tax Bill but their fundamental demands should be addressed first. Briefing reporters in Delhi, party leader Ghulam Nabi Azad said when BJP was in Opposition, it stalled the GST Bill for more that six years and is now accusing Congress of stalling the Bill.<br/><br/>Mr Azad said NDA government has failed in ensuring that both Houses of Parliament function smoothly. He also alleged that government made no effort to run Parliament. Another leader, Mallikarjun Kharge said Congress was ready for debate and discussion but the government wanted to avoid debate on Lalit Modi controversy.
