The Congress today lashed out at the BJP saying its members deliberately disrupted the proceedings of the Parliament, to prevent the truth from being spoken.

Speaking to the media outside Parliament, Manishanker Iyer of the Congress said, he was prevented from speaking the truth while the BJP members unveiled the untruth on the Bofors issue in the house.

Mr. Iyer said, he knew the details very well more than the opposition and would present it when the Rajya Sabha resumes at 2.00pm.

BJP Spokesman Prakash Javedekar, alleged that Mr. Iyer was attempting to politicize the issue and in lodging personal attacks on the leader of the Opposition.
