In Nagaland also, BJP and its alliance NDPP have reached halfway mark. Ruling Congress is ahead in Meghalaya. ””Eight results have come in from Meghalaya. Congress has bagged 3 seats and United Democratic Party 2. Independent and others have bagged 3 seats.  Congress candidate and Chief Minister Mukul Sangma have won both Ampati and Songsak seats. ” ”In Tripura, BJP plus is leading in 41 Assembly seats followed by  CPIM-18.  BJP alone is ahead in 33 seats while its alliance partner IPFT is leading in 8. Congress has failed to open its account. Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar is leading from Dhanpur while BJP state unit President Biplab Kumar Deb is leading from Banamalipur seat. State PWD Minister and CPIM candidate Badal Choudury is also leading from Hrishyamukh seat.””In Meghalaya, the ruling Congress is leading in 22 seats.
