Congress party today ruled out any alliance with the Left in West Bengal. <br/><br/>Party spokesman Shakeel Ahmed told reporters in New Delhi that Congress will continue to oppose the misrule of Left parties in the state. He added that the West Bengal municipal election results will not affect the UPA coalition. He said that Mamta Bannerjee is an important minister in the UPA government and she will continue to be one.<br/><br/>
