Congress releases manifesto for Uttarakhand assembly elections

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi-Vadra released the party's manifesto for the upcoming Vidhan Sabha elections in Uttarakhand on Wednesday. She said 4 lakh people would be provided employment and the price of LPG cylinder will not be more than Rs. 500 if the party is voted to power. She exhorted the people to vote for Congress in the upcoming state elections on 14 February. BJP state president Madan Kaushik declared Congress's manifesto as a "lie". <br />''<br />''He instead asked Ms. Gandhi Vadra what happened to the party's promise of giving 40% seats to women as declared earlier. BJP also launched the party's theme song for the elections.
