In West Bengal, the Congress today released its Election Manifesto for the Assembly Polls in the State. Senior Congress leader Mr. Pranab Mukherjee released the Manifesto in Kolkata this afternoon. The Congress committed compensations at market prices to the land looser for acquiring land for industries. Besides, setting up a commission for the labourers of the unorganized sectors, technology and knowledge mission for human resources development. The other highlights of the Manifesto includes special employment package for those who have enrolled their names for more than five years in Employment Exchange. It also stressed the need for equal progress of agriculture and industries in the state. The AICC General Secretary in charge of West Bengal Mr. Sakil Ahmed, the State Congress President Dr. Manas Bhuiya were also spoke on the occasion.
