The Congress has renominated all the three Union Ministers from Telangana region, including S Jaipal Reddy for the Lok Sabha polls. The party announced 16 candidates last night out of the total 17 seats from the region which is set to become a separate state. The Congress also released a list of 110 candidates for the assembly polls in Telangana region which scheduled for April 30. The region has a total of 119 assembly seats.
Jaipal Reddy has been shifted to Mehbubnagar from Chelvella. Two other Union Ministers renominated are Sarvey Satyanarayana and Balram Nayak from Malkajigiri and Mahabubabad constituencies. The Congress has also renominated G Vivekanand from Pedapally reserved constituency who has rejoined the party.
