Congress has released the list of candidates for the three out of five poll-bound states.

Party leader Oscar Fernandes announced the 114 candidates for Punjab, 65 for Uttarakhand and 60 for Manipur Assembly elections.

In Punjab, the party has fielded 32 new faces and 12 women candidates in fray in the 117 member-assembly.

Former Minister Surinder Singla, Punjab Mahila Congress Chief Malti Thapar and six sitting MLAs have been dropped. Two of the three rebels of the newly formed People's Party of Punjab, Jagbir Brar and Sukhjit Singh Lohgarh are also contesting on Congress ticket.

Party has also released the list of 65 candidates for the elections of 70 members Uttarakhand Assembly.
