In Uttar Pradesh, Congress today released its 3rd list of party candidates for forthcoming assembly elections. It contains 78 candidates for different constituencies issued by the party general secretary Oscar Fernandes.A party spokesperson told our Lucknow correspondent this evening that party candidates for several constituencies from different districts including Etah, Lakhimpur Kheri, Badaun, Kanpur, Jhansi Fatehpur, Kaushambi, Allahabad, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Basti and Ballia districts have been included in this list.Party has fielded former state Home Minister Rajendra Tripathi from Handia segment in Allahabad district. Abhishek Pal who is the son of Party MP Jagdambika Pal, will be party nominee from Basti Sadar while Laliteshpati Tripathi grand son of senior party leader Lokpati Tripathi from Madihan in Mirzapur district. Shekhar Bahuguna brother of state Congress President Rita Bahuguna Joshi, will be party nominee from Fafamau in Allahabad district.
