The Congress has strongly rejcted the charge by UP Chief Minister Ms Mayawati of step motherly treatment by the centre towards the state.<br/><br/>The party spokesman Mr Shakeel Ahmed told media in New Delhi today that Ms Mayawati is making the allegations to hide her own failure. He said that the centre has given more money and assitance to UP as compared to other states and a special package was also given for Bundelkhand.<br/>
