Congress today raised questions on the 7.8 billion dollar Rafale fighter jet deal saying it has caused losses to the exchequer. <br/><br/>Briefing media in Ahmedabad this evening, party spokesperson Randeep Surjewala said the purchase of 36 Rafale jets from a French company for the Indian Air Force was marred by the lack of transparency, and without Transfer of Technology to Hindustan Aeronautics Limited.<br/><br/>Mr Surjewala said NDA government has compromised national security and interests on the matter.
