The Congress President Mrs Sonia Gandhi has given up her plan to visit the ongoing Maha Kumbh at Haridwar to avoid any inconvenience to the devotees and saints who have gathered there for the auspicious occasion. <br/><br/>In a message, Mrs Gandhi underlined the importance of the Kumbh, saying that the society has deep faith in the age-old festival. <br/><br/>She also congratulated all the saints and people going to Haridwar for Kumbh pilgrimage and thanked them for inviting her. <br/><br/>She hoped that the people will continue to get inspired by the path shown by saints and philosophers centuries ago.
