In Himachal Pradesh, the Congress party has stake its claim to form a new government in the State.

State Party Affairs Incharge Chaudhary Birender Singh and Co-Incharge Aneesh Ahmed met the Governor Ms. Urmila Singh at Rajbhawan in Shimla this morning and gave her a letter on the election of Mr. Virbhadra Singh as Congress Legislature Party Leader.

They also handed over a list of 36 party MLAs elected in the State Assembly Election.

Meanwhile, Mr. Virbhadra Singh is leaving for Delhi to meet AICC President, Mrs. Sonia Gandhi consult on the formation of his Cabinet.
