The Congress today said, it is unfortunate that one more session of Parliament was wasted and Bharatiya Janata Party and the CAG is equally responsible for it.
Speaking to reporters, Congress spokesperson Manish Tewari said that CAG tabled a report based on presumptive assumptions and BJP used it to their best to stall the proceedings of both the Houses of Parliament bringing disrepute for the country.
The BJP, meanwhile, reiterated its demand for cancellation of allocation of all 142 coal blocks and said responsibility must be fixed in the this regard. Talking to reporters in New Delhi, party spokesperson, Shanawaz Husain also alleged that the Congress is trying to divert the attention of people on the issue by charging BJP ruled state governments. He said that his party will launch a nation-wide protest against the government on this issue.
