Citing a Moody's report, he said nation's growth requires momentum in economic reforms and any delay in passing GST and Land Acquisition Bills will dent the image. Touching upon suspension of 25 Congress MPs, he said in 1989, 63 MPs faced similar action, adding, the Lok Sabha Speaker was forced to take the action.

None of the BJP Ministers needs to resign as there is no wrongdoing, he remarked, and charged that Lalit Modi was allowed to leave the country during the previous rule. With four more days left for the Monsoon Session to conclude, and many crucial bills hanging fire, political observers keenly watch the unfolding events.
