In Haryana, congress nominee Shadi Lal Batra has been elected unopposed for one Rajya Sabha seat from Haryana. Shadi Lal Batra is completing his previous Rajya Sabha term on April 2. Confirming the election of Batra, Returning officer of the election and Secretary Haryana Vidhansabha said at Chandigarh only one nomination was received.
