Congress President Sonia Gandhi said her party never tolerated corruption at any level. Addressing a well attendant rally this afternoon at Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh without naming any political party she said opposition has been adopted double standard on the issue of corruption. She said Congress lead UPA government is headed by Dr. Manmohan Singh, a man of unquestionable honesty and integrity. She said Congress has taken actions even against its own leaders whenever serious complaints have been received. She announced her party could never tolerate corruption at any cost.Rally was organised in the continuation of celebrations of 125 years of Congress establishment. She also flagged of Congress Sandesh Yatra on this occasion. The Congress has initiated Sandesh Yatra in the state with objective for bringing the people closer to the party. Mrs. Gandhi sharply criticised Uttar Pradesh government for lawlessness, poor condition of roads and power and unutilisation of funds for poor people.
