Congress leader and former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh has said that he did not discuss Gujarat elections with anyone else at the dinner hosted by suspended party leader Mani Shankar Aiyar as alleged by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Dr Singh also claimed that the discussion was confined to Indo-Pak relations and the Gujarat issue was not raised at all by anyone else present in the dinner. <br/><br/>He alleged that Mr Modi is setting a dangerous precedent by what he called desire to tarnish every Constitutional office including that of a former Prime Minister and the Army Chief. Dr Singh said, his track record of public service to the country cannot be questioned by anyone including Mr Modi. He said, Congress needs no sermons on nationalism from the BJP and Prime Minister Modi. He sought an apology from the Prime Minister to restore the dignity of the office of the Prime Minister.
