Talking to reporters after the meeting in New Delhi, party leader Ashwani Kumar said the incident of EVM being carried in a private vehicle of a BJP candidate is a serious violation of poll norms. <br />''<br />''He said the Congress has demanded a probe into the matter and urged the Commission to ensure effective implementation of poll guidelines. The Congress also raised the issue of a Bodoland Peoples Front (BPF) candidate joining BJP in Assam. He urged the poll panel to allow the BPF to nominate a new candidate or countermand the election on that assembly seat.</span><br />
