<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">Before the Lok Sabha elections, Geeta Koda Congress' only Member of Parliament (MP) from Singhbhum in Jharkhand resigned from the party to join the BJP in Ranchi on Monday (26th February 2024).  She is the wife of former Chief Minister Madhu Koda. Ms Koda won the Singhbhum Lok Sabha seat in 2019, the only seat Congress had in Jharkhand.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">BJP State President Babulal Marandi today in a press conference welcomed the MP and her supporters in the party and gave her membership of the Party. Later addressing the media today, Geeta Koda said that till now Congress has done only politics of appeasement and dynasty.</p>
