Congress today lodged a complaint with the Election Commission against BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying they violated the Model Code of Conduct. <br/><br/>In its complaint, the party said Prime Minister had addressed an event on 12th of this month and made statements regarding Ayodhya, Lord Ram and Lord Hanuman. <br/><br/>Congress has said the Prime Minister tried to invoke religion to further the prospects of the party in the upcoming assembly elections in five states.
