Congress legislators from Telengana call-off their hunger strike following state government's decision to withdraw cases against students

In Andhra Pradesh, Congress MPs and Legislators from the Telangana region have called-off their hunger strike following the State Government's decision to withdraw the cases against students. Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy, Panchayat Raj Minister, K Jana Reddy and three other ministers met the fasting MPs and MLAs and told them that all 1665 cases involving over 8 thousand students would be withdrawn.Meanwhile, Srikrishna Committee has said that it will submit its report on the Telangana issue in the two days. Talking to reporters in New Delhi on Tuesday, the Chairman of the Committee Justice B N Srikrishna said that the report provides for a permanent solution to the issue.Pannel's Member secretary and Former Union Home Secretary V.K. Duggal who was also present at the press meet, said that the committee has dealt with all issues in detail and recommended a holistic solution.
