In Kerala, Congress led UDF Government with Sh. Oommen Chandy as Chief Minister has been sworn on Wednesday afternoon. Six leaders of constituent parties of UDF have also taken oath as ministers. Kerala Governor Sh R.S Gavai administered the oath office to Oommen Chandy and other ministers. The ministers include P. K. Kunjalikutty, K. M. Mani, T. M. Jacob, K. P. Mohan, Shibu Baby John and K.B.Ganesh Kumar.The swearing in ceremony held at Raj Bhavan in Thiruvananthapuram has been attended by former Chief Minister V. S. Achuthanandan, Central Ministers from Kerala, leaders of prominent political parties and thousands of UDF workers from across the state. 68 year old Oommen Chandy is assuming the office of Kerala Chief Minister for the second time. He is the 21st Chief Minister of the state.Oommen Chandy will be expanding his cabinet next week after consultation with Congress High command in New Delhi.
