Congress-led opposition today staged a walkout from the Rajya Sabha over the political situation in Jharkhand. When the House met this morning, Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge raised the issue saying despite showing the support of over 43 MLAs after the resignation of former Chief &nbsp;Minister Hemant Soren, the State Governor was delaying inviting the JMM -Congress alliance to form the government. He also objected to a long period of ten days given by the Governor for floor tests. Mr. Kharge alleged that democracy is being muzzled in the state.&nbsp;<br />''<br />''Reacting to it, Leader of House Piyush Goyal said the conduct of the Governor can not be discussed and questioned in the House. He added the Governor is working according to law. He added that the matter is related to corruption in the state and alleged that the former Chief Minister is involved in it.&nbsp; Later, the opposition staged a walkout from the House over the arrest of Mr. Soren.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman hit out at Congress alleging that their walkout is in support of corruption. BRS &nbsp;leader K Keshav Rao raised the issue related to the caretaker Chief Minister in the state saying when the CM resigns, there cannot be a vacuum in Parliamentary democracy.<br />
