Congress led opposition today staged a walk out from Rajya Sabha demanding discussion over India- China border issue. When the House met for the day, Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar rejected the adjournment notices on this matter and other issues given by Congress and other opposition members. Mr Dhankhar said the notices are not in line with the rules of the House.<br />''<br />''Mr Dhankar said earlier this month, he had clearly given rulings about the notices under Rule 267 of the House. However, none of the notices have followed the stipulated rules. He also highlighted that Rule 267 is very serious notice which is used in extraordinary situations. Mr. Dhankhar added that disruption over the issue in the past days in not sending good signals about the House as discussion on important issues could not take place . The Chairman said generating optics of disruption is giving a very bad name.<br />''<br />''Leader of the Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge said the Chairman has residuary power to accept any notices. He said reported Chinese incursion is a very serious issue and this must be discussed in the House. Leader of the House Piyush Goyal objected to some of the comments made by Mr Kharge. He also said a previous UPA  government Minister in 2012 had accepted in the House about Chinese incursion in Jammu and Kashmir. Later, members from Congress, DMK, Left, TMC, RJD, SP, AAP and others staged a walkout in protest of not allowing discussion on the India China border issue.<br />
