A Congress delegation led by party vice president Rahul Gandhi today met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and submitted a memorandum on farmers' demands including loan waiver and problems faced by them due to demonetization. <br/><br/>Later talking to media outside Parliament, Mr Gandhi hoped that Mr Modi will waive off loans of farmers. He said the government should provide immediate help to the farmers as they are committing suicide because of the loan burden. Sources said the Prime Minister gave the delegation a patient hearing and told Mr Rahul Gandhi to keep meeting him.<br/><br/>Party leader Captain Amarinder Singh said, Mr Modi has assured them for looking into the issues mentioned by the delegation. Mr Singh said, more than a month is over, however, still people particularly the farmers are facing inconvenience due to the poor implementation of demonetization.
