BJP has said that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi should have been more responsible and sensitive towards the situation of Manipur. Briefing reporters in New Delhi today, party spokesperson Sambit Patra said, Mr. Gandhi's Manipur visit was vehemently opposed by many Civil Society Organisations and Student Unions in Manipur. He said, the administration requested Rahul Gandhi to take a helicopter to Churachandpur, rather than the road route but Mr. Gandhi was stubborn to take the road route.
