Urging political parties to refrain from dragging army into politics, Senior Congress leader Mr. Sachin Pilot today asked both the Trinamool Congress (TMC) government in West Bengal and the BJP government at the Centre not to indulge in petty politics over functioning of the armed forces. <br/><br/>Mr. Pilot told reporters in Kolkata that, his party would like to urge both TMC government in West Bengal and BJP government in the Centre not to indulge in petty politics over functioning of the armed forced. <br/><br/>He said army should not be dragged into politics as they sacrifice their life for the safety and security of our country. The West Bengal Chief Minister Ms. Mamata Banerjee continued to stay put at the state secretariat today protesting against army presence at toll plazas in several places of the state and asked whether it was an "army coup".
