In Jammu & Kashmir armed militants barged into the house of a senior Congress leader Abdul Gani Dar and opened fire at him but he escaped unhurt. The incident happened yesterday at Rehama in Pulwama district of South Kashmir. <br/><br/>The personal security officer of Mr. Dar shot back killing one of the ultras and injuring another militant. Police and security forces launched combing operations and nabbed the injured militant. <br/><br/>Police sources said the dead militant has been identified as Aslam Kalas and injured as Irshad both belonging to Hizbul Mujahidden outfit.
